Material & Engineering Overview
Current-collector surface energy and contact resistance directly govern electrode slurry adhesion, high-rate C-rate capability, and cycle life. We supply anti-tarnish treated electrolytic copper anode foil (8–12 µm), battery-grade aluminum cathode foil (15–20 µm), and 1 µm nano-carbon-coated aluminum (C-Al) and copper (C-Cu) foils.
Conductive carbon primer layers reduce interfacial contact resistance by 40%–70%, prevent binder delamination in aqueous and high-loading LFP/NMC/Si electrodes, and suppress aluminum pitting corrosion.
Standard Shipment Documentation: Manufacturer Lot COA (foil purity, thickness, areal density g/m², tensile strength, and surface dyne level).
Primary Research & Industrial Applications
- Doctor-blade and slot-die slurry casting of graphite, silicon/C, and hard-carbon anodes (Cu & C-Cu foil)
- Cathode coating of LFP, NMC811, LCO, LNMO, sulfur, and Prussian-blue analogs (Al & C-Al foil)
- Aqueous binder (CMC/SBR, PAA, alginate) and dry-film PTFE electrode processing
- Supercapacitor and hybrid Li-ion capacitor current collectors

Technical & Procurement FAQ
When should I use carbon-coated aluminum (C-Al) foil instead of bare Al foil?
Carbon-coated Al is strongly recommended for poorly conductive cathodes (LFP, LMFP, sulfur), aqueous-processed slurries, and thick high-areal-loading electrodes where bare Al delaminates.
Can I order small A4 sheets instead of a full 5 kg roll?
Yes! We supply both cleanroom-packed A4 flat sheets (20–100 sheets/pack) for lab benchtop coaters and continuous rolls for roll-to-roll pilot lines.
Do you offer pre-punched electrode discs?
Yes. Precision die-cut burr-free discs in Ø 12, 14, 15, 16, and 18 mm are available for immediate coin-cell assembly.
