Material & Engineering Overview

From intricate serpentine vacuum-furnace heating elements and threaded graphite tie-rods to pocketed brazing trays and RF induction susceptors, custom graphite components demand tight CNC dust-controlled machining paired with consistent grade properties (electrical resistivity, CTE, and density). Selecting the exact graphite grain size and resistivity ensures repeatable furnace power curves and zero part distortion during thermal cycling.

We quote both bare precision-machined isostatic parts and post-machining halogen-purified (<5–20 ppm ash) or pyrolytic-carbon / CVD-SiC surface-sealed components.

Standard Shipment Documentation: Manufacturer Grade Lot COA (density, resistivity, flexural strength, ash content) and CMM/caliper dimensional inspection report.

Primary Research & Industrial Applications

  • Vacuum heat-treat & sintering furnace heating elements, connectors, and hearth rails
  • Precision multi-cavity glass-to-metal sealing and vacuum brazing fixtures
  • Induction susceptors, plasma PECVD electrode plates, and ion-implantation aperture parts
  • Graphite bolts, hex nuts, washers, and threaded standoffs

Technical & Procurement FAQ

Why should halogen purification be performed AFTER CNC machining?
Purifying finished machined components removes any metallic trace contamination introduced by tooling or handling and achieves deep gas-phase purification across thin walls and pockets down to <5–20 ppm total ash.
Why does electrical resistivity matter when replacing a graphite furnace heater?
Replacing a resistive heater with an arbitrary graphite block can alter circuit resistance by 30–50%, overloading or underpowering the furnace transformer. Share your existing grade code or resistivity spec (µΩ·m) so an equivalent grade is selected.
Can threaded graphite bolts and nuts be supplied alongside furnace fixtures?
Yes—CNC-milled coarse and metric pitch graphite bolts, nuts, washers, and dowel pins are routinely supplied as complete hot-zone hardware kits.
